
As part of a free drive-in theater series, the public will get a chance to watch “Independence Day” on the big screen in St. Joseph Sunday.
The East Hills Shopping Center, The Regular Joe and the St. Joseph Public Library have teamed up for the The East Hills Drive-In Theater. The July 2nd Movie is the 1996 film, “Independence Day,” rated PG-13.
According to the St. Joseph Public Library, the movie will take place in the East Hills Library east parking lot. Gates open at 7 p.m. and the movie starts five minutes after sundown. The event is free. The showing is subject to cancellation due to weather or high winds. Check the East Hills Shopping Center or St. Joseph Public Library Facebook pages for cancellation notices.
July 22, the drive-in theater will show, “Sing” which was postponed from June 10 due to high winds.
