Confidence in the extreme heat lasting from Wed-Sat is highest along and south of Hwy 36. Areas north of Hwy 36 will have heat index values 105 to 110 Wednesday through Friday, but Saturday could see some storms and clouds, which may keep conditions slightly cooler. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:
