Police are investigating after an armed robbery at a St. Joseph gas station over the weekend.

According to Sgt. Steve McClintick with the St. Joseph Police Department, a man entered the Road Star gas station at 3215 South 22nd shortly after 7 p.m. Friday, displayed a pistol, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in a white two-door vehicle.

McClintick said the description of the suspect appears to be the same as other recent robberies. The suspect is described as a white male with a skinny build and wearing a bandana over his face.
