The St. Joseph Public Library announced Wednesday that its Downtown branch is closed due to a power outage.

Library Director, Mary Beth Revels said the outage is due to a transformer replacement. According to Kansas City Power and Light’s power outage map, fewer than five customers are impacted by the outage and crews are assigned.
