Thunderstorms today into tonight will have the potential to become strong to severe across much of the area. Should some of these storms become strong to severe, the potential exists for damaging winds, hail, and localized flooding. Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61. Northwest wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny, with a high near 86. Calm wind becoming south southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
