Two men were injured in a rollover crash Thursday afternoon in Grundy County.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Henry A. Mullenix of Kansas City, Missouri, was driving a Honda Civic east on MO 6 about 6 1/2 miles east of Trenton at 4:46 p.m. The vehicle traveled into the westbound lane. Mullenix overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to skid into a critical clockwise rotation. The vehicle traveled off the south side of the road, overturned once and came to rest on the passenger side.
Mullenix was transported by ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton for treatment of minor injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
A passenger in the Civic, 57-year-old Samuel S. Rhea of Kansas City, Missouri, was also transported to Wright Memorial for treatment of serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
