A Des Moines, Iowa, man was seriously injured in a one vehicle crash in Clinton County Thursday night.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old David J. Allen was driving a Jeep south on I-35, one mile north of Holt shortly after 10 p.m., when his vehicle traveled off the road, hit a cross over and overturned, landing on its wheels.

Allen was transported to Liberty Hospital with serious injuries. According to the crash report, he was wearing a seat belt.
