The Andrew County Fall Festival is still several weeks away but wristbands are already going on sale for carnival rides and parade registrations are being accepted.
The Andrew County Fall Festival will be held in Savannah Thursday, September 28 – Sunday, October 1.
According to a news release from the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, wristbands for unlimited carnival rides will be for sale beginning Tuesday, September 5 at many Chamber member businesses. Also, parade entry registration can be made by contacting the Savannah High School at 816-324-3128.
The Chamber said board members, community volunteers and school representatives have been working on the Fall Festival plans since late 2016.
While this year’s parade route is the same length as usual, the chamber said the route is varied by about 1 block to accommodate the carnival. Rides and attractions will be set up on the usual parade route section on 5th & Court streets.
