Power has been restored to hundreds of residents after a transformer issue in St. Joseph.

According to the Kansas City Power and Light power outage map, around 11:40 a.m. around 1,488 customers in St. Joseph were without power.  A spokesman with the company said power was restored shortly after 12:17 p.m.  He said the outage was due to some transformer issues.
