The Buchanan County Sheriff’s Department said a man was pulled from the Missouri River in Buchanan County Wednesday afternoon.
Cpl. Sarah Hardin said the St. Joseph Fire Department responded after a witnesses reported hearing a man in the water calling for help. Hardin said it’s believed the 28-year-old may have been in the river near Jentell Brees Access conservation area for around 45 minutes before he was rescued. He was transported to Mosaic Life Care for evaluation.
