The Saint Joseph Symphony is set to open its 2017-18 season with a maritime theme.

Rico McNeela is the Music Director with the symphony. He said, Set Sail with the Symphony will debut this Saturday.

“It’s kind of a musical journey. We’re going to start in the north Atlantic along the Scottish coast and work our way around the coast of England with a very brief leap off to the sea off of Vladivostok,” McNeela said. “We come back, head out to the deep blue water and then ultimately end up in the Caribbean visiting several ports of call.”
