A 33-year-old woman is accused of having sexual relations with an underage boy.

Shantel Angst is charged in Buchanan County with a felony of second-degree statutory rape.

According to court documents, the incident took place in 2016 when Angst was 32 and the child was 13

Det. Frank Till with the St. Joseph Police Department said Angst has been charged will fleeing from justice for failure to appear in court in Doniphan County, Kan.

Angst is scheduled for an arraignment for Oct. 10. Bail is set at $20,000.
