A Des Moines man was seriously injured in a crash on I-35 in Harrison County Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 49-year-old Kimberly M. Burch of Des Moines was driving a Dodge Dakota south on I-35 about four miles north of Bethany at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. The pickup went off the left side of the road at mile marker 96.6 and traveled into the median. The vehicle then overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side.
A passenger in the vehicle, 65-year-old Herman J. Clark, was transported to Harrison County Community Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Burch was not injured.
According to the crash report, both occupants were wearing seat belts.
