Missouri Reapportionment Public Meetings Set

Work to redraw the state senate district lines in Missouri continues, after the state’s highest court rejected an earlier effort.

The filing period for senate races is fast approaching.

The Senate Reapportionment Commission hurriedly scheduled meetings across the state to take public testimony.

The first meeting was Sunday in Jefferson City. The next meeting, on Monday, is in Kansas City at 2:30 p.m. at the UMKC School of Law Building, at 500 E 52nd Street.

A third and final meeting is scheduled in St Louis Tuesday, at one p.m., in Conference Room 116 of the Wainwright State Office Building, 11 N. 7th Street.

The Commission will then meet for a work session at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in room 1310 of the Jefferson State Office Building in Jefferson City.
