Buddy Robert Coffman 48, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Sunday March 25, 2018 at Mosaic life care hospital. He was born February 25, 1970 in St. Joseph, Missouri, and attended Central High School. He worked at Capital Express transportation as a Dispatcher for 26 years. He enjoyed playing pool, darts, bowling, hanging out with family and friends. Buddy was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clarence Rebecca Stamper, paternal grandparents, William Coffman Sr., and Ella Coffman-Kendall, and an uncle Richard Franklin Stamper. He is survived by his father, William Coffman, mother, Virginia Stamper both of St. Joseph, MO, brothers, Bill (Rosemary) Coffman, and Danny Coffman, sisters, Stacie Tanner (Juan Ortega), Becky (Jimmie) Hughes, all of St. Joseph, and Donna (Toby) McCullough, Old Monroe, MO, best friends, Richard Sandra Ortega, as well as several nieces nephews. Mr. Coffman will be cremated under the care and direction of the Rupp Funeral Home.
Adriana “Yana” T. Davis

Adriana “Yana” T. Davis 87, of Saint Joseph, MO passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at a Saint Joseph, MO health care center. She was born March 5, 1931 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Micaela and Frank Montemore. She graduated from Convent of Sacred Heart high school, and worked at Sherwood Medical until it closed. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was a member of the St. James Altar Society and St. James Catholic Church. Adriana was preceded in death by husband, Jack G. Davis, her parents, a daughter Monica Davis, a son, Gregory John Davis, brothers, Genaro Montemore, and Raymond Montemore, and a sister, Patricia Atkins. Survivors include granddaughter, Ursula Chapman, Kansas CIty, MO, a brother, Martin (Carol) Montemore, Prairie Village, KS, sister, Irene Hurley, Sara Sota, FL, several nieces & nephews.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 10:30 am at the St. James Catholic Church, Fr. Evan Harkins Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, and the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery. Betty Leona Cave

Betty Leona (Steele) Cave, 88, formerly of Atchison, KS was received into the presence of our Savior on Saturday, March 24, 2018 in St. Joseph, MO.
Graveside services will be 11:30 AM on Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life lunch will be held immediately following at Meierhoffer Funeral Home Community Room. Betty was born on March 30, 1929 in St. Joseph, the daughter of the late August (Gus) and Kitty (Trent) Steele. She graduated from Central High School, St. Joseph, in 1947. She was an active member of the Atchison United Methodist Church where she attended the GMC Sunday School Class and Women’s Circle. Betty’s volunteer service included Atchison Hospital Auxiliary and Franklin School PTA where she received accolades for her spirit of generosity. Ralph and Betty enjoyed valued time with their granddaughters, traveling, walking, and relaxing on the beach, until relocating to St. Joseph, for health purposes.
Betty and her loving husband, Ralph celebrated 57 years of marriage on July 15, 2008, and were married until his passing on Feb. 27th, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters, Eleanor Alt, Helen Meyer, Marjorie Smith and Marilyn Miller; three brothers, Milton (Bud), Marvin and Walter Steele.
Betty and Ralph were blessed with two children, a son Kirk (Doris)Cave, Carrollton, TX and a daughter, Janet (Steve) Johnston, St. Joseph, three granddaughters, Jill (Nick) McKay, Atlanta, GA, Megan (Eric) Lott, St. Joseph, Ashley (Adrian) Gray, St. Joseph, one great granddaughter, Amory Gray, St. Joseph and a sister-in-law, Geneva Steele, Butler, MO.

Plattsburg, MO. Dale E. Bembrick, 74, formerly of Troy, Kansas passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Nicks Healthcare in Plattsburg, Missouri.
Dale was born on August 31, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri to Charles & M. Maxine (Schuler) Bembrick.
He worked for Mead Products as a printer.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents & wife Diane Campbell Bembrick.

6 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren;

Mary Alice Lyons 92, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday March 27, 2018 at a St. Joseph health care center. She was born October 6, 1925 in St. Joseph, Missouri daughter of late Theresa & Joseph Sanger. She graduated from Benton High School, and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Altar Society and Patroness Club for Christian Brothers High School, and the St. James Catholic Church. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Lyons, son, Ronald Lyons, granddaughter, Erin Lyons, her parents, and sisters, Beatrice Sanger, and Eleonor Johnson. She is survived by daughter, Karen S. (John) Groce of St. Joseph, MO, daughter in law, Marie Lyons, grandson, Chris (Tara) Lyons, both of Denver, CO, and granddaughter, Sharri Moreland of CO. Ray “G-Ray” Gibson, 51, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the Mayo Hospital, in Rochester, MN. He was born February 5, 1967 in St. Joseph, son of Pauline and Franklin “Bud” Gibson. He graduated from Mid-Buchanan High School and has worked at Purina for 25 years. He enjoyed working on classic cars, and was a member of the Agency Christian. Ray was preceded in death by father Franklin “Bud” Gibson, brothers, Dennis, Richard, and R.D. “Bo” Gibson, and a sister, Jackie Sue Gibson. Survivors include, mother, Pauline Gibson, Agency, MO, brothers, Frank Gibson, Agency, MO, David (Holly) Gibson, Napa, ID, sisters, Teresa Goldizen, Agency, MO, Tammy Shelter, Faucett, MO., and Brenda Severson, Bend, OR, his companion, Kim Knaebel, and good friend and cousin, Christina Lytton, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Troy, Kansas Arlene M. Smith, 97, of Troy, Kansas passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Wathena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Arlene was born on January 25, 1921 in Severance, Kansas to George A. & Ethel M. (Roland) Blanton.
She was a homemaker. Arlene was of the Christian Faith, enjoying her holiday baskets from the Methodist Church.
Arlene married Clifford A. “Mike” Smith on March 2, 1938 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sons, Maynard Smith, Martin Smith, sisters, Ruby Corcoran, Vivian Smith, Mildred Wasson & Anna Frump, brothers, George H. Blanton, Jessie J. Blanton, Milo W. Long, John H. Blanton, N. Dean Blanton & Dale DeGolyer.
Survivors include, grandchildren, Martin Smith Jr., Roper Smith & Darla Smith; 7 great-grandchildren; Special nephew, Greg Blanton and numerous nieces & nephews.

Shirley Mae Collings 90, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at her home. She was born September 28, 1927 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of the late Goldie and Joseph Mollus. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed crafting, sewing, crocheting, gardening, flower gardening especially peonies & roses, and was a former member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic church, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Shirley was preceded in death by father Joseph Mollus, mother, Goldie Jarrott, husband, Virgil Collings, son, Charles Collings, brother, Frank D Mollus, and sister, Joann Teed. Survivors include, daughters, Dianna Collings (Eddie Dykes), MO, and Helen Matthews, son, Richard (Sharon) Collings, brothers, Joseph “Roy” Mollus, and Charles (Sue) Mollus all of St. Joseph, MO, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
