Cool and breezy with morning drizzle

Temperatures will remain well below normal today with highs struggling to reach the 40s. Look for cloudy skies with areas of drizzle, along with gusty northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph. Lows tonight will fall into a hard freeze with readings in the teens and 20s. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Drizzle likely, mainly before 10 a.m. Patchy fog before 11 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a northwest wind 11 to 16 mph increasing to 23 to 28 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 19. Blustery, with a northwest wind 18 to 23 mph decreasing to 10 to 15 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 45. West northwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south in the afternoon.

Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 34. South wind 8 to 10 mph.

Thursday: Partly sunny, with a high near 60. South wind 7 to 10 mph becoming west in the afternoon.

Thursday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 30.

Friday: A chance of snow showers before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 23.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 46.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 34.

Sunday: A chance of rain and snow showers. Cloudy, with a high near 51. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 51.
