KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Patrick McCarthy of Griffon men’s golf has been named MIAA Golfer of the Week.

McCarthy won the Broncho Stampede in Edmond, Oklahoma with a three-under-par 213. The sophomore had rounds of 72, 70 and 71 and led Missouri Western to the team title as well. The individual championship was McCarthy’s second of the season. He was also named MIAA Golfer of the Week on March 21 and September 27.

Missouri Western is in action next at the MIAA Championships on Monday, April 23-Wednesday, April 25 at Sycamore Ridge Golf Course in Kansas City, Missouri.
