ST. JOSEPH, MO.- ​ The St. Joseph Mustangs continue their trend of including local talent to their roster with the addition of former Central High School pitcher Dawson Smith.

Smith joins the Mustangs following his freshman season at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. The left handed pitcher will add extra depth to the Mustangs pitching staff.

Smith will join other local products Patrick Dillon (LeBlond), Chaz Verduzco (Benton) and Preston Bailey (Savannah).
