A Stanberry man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash over the weekend in Andrew County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 11:10 a.m. Sunday, 29-year-old Christopher T. Nelson was driving a Suzuki GSXR-600 motorcycle on US 169 about five miles north of St. Joseph. Nelson slowed down abruptly, the motorcycle skidded, overturned and went off the east side of the road, ejecting Nelson.

He was transported to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph for treatment of serious injuries.
