Northwest Missouri State soccer falls to Lindenwood

The Lindenwood Lions defeated the Northwest Bearcats 2-0 at Bearcat Pitch. This brings Lindenwood to 3-3-1 and Northwest falls to 1-5-0.

Sami Gregory scored the Lions’ first goal 32 minutes in the game. Their second goal was scored by Jordan Wipke on a penalty kick.
Northwest goalkeeper Alexis Serna-Castillo had 8 saves on the day, and Lindenwood goalkeeper Lauren Greenstein had 10.

Northwest soccer will be back in action Sunday against the University of Central Missouri Jennies at 1 p.m. for Soctoberfest. The first 400 fans will receive a free Stein and a root beer float.
