STONE COUNTY — One person died in an accident just before 3p.m. Thursday in Stone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle driven by James R. Graham, 69, Independence, was northbound on Highway 13 two miles south of Lampe.

The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the road and hit a tree.  Graham was pronounced dead at the scene.  He was wearing a helmet, according to the MSHP.
