BELTON, Mo. (AP) — Police in the Kansas City suburb of Belton say two pedestrians have been hit and killed on a city street.

Police say the incident was reported around 8:20 p.m. Friday on Peculiar Drive in Belton, south of Kansas City, Missouri.

Arriving officers reported finding two males dead at the scene. It was not known Saturday whether the males were men or boys.

Police say the vehicle suspected in the deaths has been located, and the suspected driver has been contacted. Police had not reported any arrests by Saturday morning.

Neither the names of those killed nor the suspected driver have been released.
