A Cowgill man was seriously injured in a rollover crash Saturday night in Caldwell County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday, 38-year-old Anthony S. Vansel was driving a 1992 Chevrolet 1500 west on East Soo Line Drive about three miles east of Polo, when the vehicle went off the south side of the road. The vehicle hit an embankment before going through a fence, rolling once and coming to rest on its wheels in a pasture.

Vansel was transported to Liberty Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

According to the crash report, Vansel was wearing a seatbelt.
