LIVINGSTON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 4:30p.m. Tuesday in Livingston County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2006 Chrysler 300 driven by Danny A. Bullock, 30, Chillicothe, was eastbound on U.S. 36 ten miles west of Chillicothe.
The Chrysler was rapidly passing an eastbound semi from the rear that was slowing to turn north across U.S. 36. The Chrysler struck the trailer of the semi.
Bullock was transported to Hedrick Medical Center in serious condition. The semi driver Lonnie R. Sewell, 67, Mooresville, was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
