Sunny with temps in the 50s

Overall it looks like we will have pretty good weather for the holiday weekend. The focus will remain on Sunday, as chances increase for winter weather. It is still too early for details, but there is increasing potential for accumulating snowfall Sunday. Keep checking back for forecast updates, especially those who have travel plans Sunday. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 55. Calm wind becoming south southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Tonight: Clear, with a low around 32. East wind around 6 mph becoming south after midnight.

Thanksgiving Day: Sunny, with a high near 58. South wind 5 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Thursday Night: A slight chance of rain after midnight. Increasing clouds, with a low around 44. South wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: Rain. High near 51. South wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 59.

Saturday Night: Rain likely after midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Sunday: Rain before 7 a.m., then rain and snow between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., then snow after 9 a.m. High near 36. Windy. Chance of precipitation is 80%.

Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 31.
