The city of St. Joseph will lower flags at city facilities on Friday, November 30, in honor of former mayor Ken Shearin.

Shearin, who served as mayor of St. Joseph from 2006-2010, passed away on Monday and funeral services will be held on Friday, November 30. Flags will be lowered from sunrise to sunset as a sign of respect for his service to the community.

At Monday night’s City Council meeting, a moment of silence will be held in memory of Mr. Shearin, and his service to our country and city will be remembered.
