DONIPHAN COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before noon Wednesday in Doniphan County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Cadillac SUV  driven by Brooklyn Nicole Scroggins, 20, Mound City, Missouriwas eastbound on U.S 36 just east of Columbus Road.

The Cadillac rear-ended a 2000 Kenworth Truck driven by Tyler Duane Ferris, 20, Troy.

Scroggins was transported to Mosaic Life Care. Ferris was not injured. Scroggins was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP
