Livingston County K-9 assigned new handler

Deputy Nicholas Leadbetter has been assigned as K-9 handler for the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

According to a LCSO press release, Deputy Leadbetter has been working with Zaki since Deputy Mueller announced his resignation in December.

According to Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox, “Nicholas is an excellent and hardworking deputy sheriff for our county and excels in many areas including criminal investigations and drug enforcement.”

Zaki and Deputy Leadbetter will attend a K-9 training course in the near future.
