Daviess Co. man, 11-year-old hospitalized after crash into tree

DAVIESS COUNTY – Two people were injured in an accident just after 6a.m. Wednesday in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Jeep Liberty driven by Larry C. Raymo, 77, Jamesport, was northbound on 320th Street five miles north of Jamesport.

The driver lost control on the ice covered road. The Jeep traveled off the road a struck a tree.

A passenger Ivan L. Miller, 11, Jamesport, was flown to Children’s Mercy for treatment of serious injuries, according to the MSHP.

Grundy County Ambulance transported Raymo to Wright Memorial Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
