CLINTON COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just after 2a.m. Wednesday in Clinton County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 2003 Jeep Cherokee driven by Erica A. Cawthon 22, Lathrop, was westbound on State Route PP just east of Mo. 33 in Holt. The Jeep slid on the ice, traveled off the road, struck a tree and overturned.

Cawthon was transported to Liberty Hospital. She was properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the MSHP.
