Sunny and breezy with temps in the 70s

We’ve got two pretty nice days ahead, despite it being a little breezy. Things change Wednesday though as storm chances return to the region. A few storms could become severe, with hail and damaging winds being the main concerns. Here’s the 7-day forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 76. South wind 9 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. South wind 9 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79. South wind 8 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Tuesday Night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. South wind 11 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 79. South wind 11 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Wednesday Night: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Cloudy, with a low around 49. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Thursday: Showers likely, mainly before 8 a.m. Cloudy, with a high near 56. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Thursday Night: A chance of showers before 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 42. Breezy. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 63.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 41.

Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 71.

Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 51.

Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.
