GRUNDY COUNTY — One person died in an accident just before 8a.m. Tuesday in Grundy County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1999 Volo dump truck driven by Chaz A. Streu, 25, Kidder, was eastbound on MO 6 eight miles west of Trenton.

The truck skidded, traveled across the centerline and off the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Grundy County Ambulance transported Streu to Wright Memorial Hospital where he died. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the MSHP.
