Suspected Bank Robber From MSU Laments He Never Got Rich In The NFL

INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) — A Twin Cities bank robbery suspect is lamenting that he never made the NFL and got rich.

Former college football player Christopher Miller was charged Monday with robbing a Bremer Bank in Inver Grove Heights on May 2nd.

The complaint says Miller passed a threatening note to a teller, then took money and fled.

Police obtained a photo of Miller from video surveillance and tracked him to his apartment.

He was arrested and the money was recovered.

Miller was a defensive back at Missouri State University several years ago. The Star Tribune newspaper reports the 27-year-old told police he intended to play in the NFL but was derailed by injury.
