The 2012 schedule is once again complete for the Griffon Football team as Director of Athletics Kurt McGuffin announced Thursday that the Griffons will host William Jewell in Spratt Stadium on Saturday, September 8th at 6 PM.

The open date became available when Central State of Ohio pulled out of the game contract.

“It was highly important to us and especially for our fan base to schedule a sixth home game against a NCAA Division II opponent,” said Director of Athletics Kurt McGuffin.  “It’s a plus that the opponent is a recognizable name from the local area and we look forward to hosting William Jewell this fall.”

The Cardinals finished 4-6 a year ago and will be entering their second season as a NCAA Division II member and competes in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.
