Teen pregnancy rates are at historic lows. A new report by the National Center for Health Statistics shows teen pregnancies dropped by 40-percent between 1990 and 2008.

Dr. Ellen Rome with the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital says the number of abortions has dropped and the teen pregnancy rate has dropped to its lowest level since 1976. The report shows pregnancy rates for women in their early 20s are also down to the lowest level in more than 30 years. The full report is here: www.cdc.gov.
