A federal grand jury indicted an Olathe man on bank robbery charges. The suspect allegedly drove a blue Jaguar during his getaway. That Jag was spotted at an Olathe gentlemen’s club and the suspect was arrested.
The indictment charges Ronald Huddleston, 63, with one count of aggravated robbery.
In an earlier criminal complaint, authorities said Huddleston robbed the Enterprise Bank & Trust located in a Price Chopper store on North Parker in Olathe on July 5.
He allegedly handed the teller a red Price Chopper bag and told her to put cash in it. The complaint says he opened his blazer to show the clerk the handle of a gun in his waistband.
A witness wrote down part of the number on the tag of the light blue Jaguar he was driving. He was arrested when detectives spotted the car at Bonita Flats on West 175th Street in Olathe.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 20 years and a fine up to $250,000.
