Severe Weather In St Joseph (VIDEO)

Severe weather warnings popped up throughout the region Wednesday evening from Omaha to Northwest Missouri and northeastern Kansas.

Dispatchers received reports of a tree limb blocking the roadway on US 169 highway a mile and a half east of Route-E.

Fire rescue and ambulance units were sent to the 4200 block of Pickett Road in St Joseph.

Officials say a motorist suffered non life threatening injuries after a free fell on an SUV. There were scattered tree damage reports elsewhere in St Joseph.

Crews were sent to the 2800 block of South 36th, where a tree fell on a mobile home.   There were no injuries there.

Winds of more than 60 mph bent some large tree limbs in St Joe, as the gust front moved through.
