KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) – A baby was killed and two other people were injured after they were struck by a car leaving a Kansas City church parking lot.

The accident occurred Sunday morning in the parking lot of the First Baptist Church in north Kansas City.

Investigators said the baby died shortly after the accident at an area hospital. The conditions of the other two victims weren’t available.

Officials said the driver of the vehicle was cooperating with the investigation. The victims’ identities haven’t been released.
