A 25-year-old St Joseph woman is behind bars charged with statutory rape.

Arraignment is scheduled Tuesday for Jessica Ann Crist, who is being held under $60 thousand bond.

Crist is charged with two counts of statutory rape in the 2nd degree, a class-c felony.

 

In a court affidavit, a St Joseph police detective said Crist had sexual intercourse on several occasions between August 13 and 18 with her neighbor and another boy.  Both were 15 years old.

The affidavit indicates that “the defendant stated” both boys were present during the alleged sexual acts. The detective says it is unknown if there are other, unreported victims.
