The average gasoline price in St Joseph continues to drop, while some retailers are now just nine tenths of a cent above $3.00 per gallon.

The city-wide average for a gallon of regular is $3.068 according to AAA. We spotted $3.009 at 1011 South Belt Highway and at 2014 South Belt.

The average price in St Joseph has droppped from $3.109 last week, and from $3.547 a month ago.

The national average Tuesday was $3.44/gallon, which is up three tenths of a cent from Monday’s average. Across Missouri, motorists are paying an average $3.095 per gallon.
