The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office is on the lookout for a known suspect believed responsible for a pair of home burglaries.

If you have information about the whereabouts of Brandon Simpson, a 24-year-old Chillicothe man, you are urged to call the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office at (660)646-0515.

Sheriff Steve Cox says the suspect entered two homes while the occupants were asleep and took various items, including one laptop that had sentimental, and irreplaceable, family history information stored on the hard drive.

Cox says investigators have interviewed many persons of interest and now have an arrest warrant for Simpson for alleged first-degree burglary and  felony stealing.  Bond is currently set at $25,000.  He says Simpson may have recently fled the Livingston County area.
