Gasoline prices have been dropping again since the spike prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. Many stations are offering self-serve regular for $2.92 per gallon in St Joseph, where the average price fell to $2.96 this week.

AAA reports the statewide average in Missouri was a fraction over $3.00 per gallon.

The Kansas average Friday was just over $3.14.

Nationwide, the average price at the pump was $3.286. That’s down a cent and a half on the day, down eight and a half cents for the week, and down nearly 16 cents from a month ago.
