Frost along US-136 highway across northern Missouri contributed to a pair of injury accidents Tuesday morning.
Frost in Nodaway County contributed to a head-on collision near Ravenwood.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Sabah Abdulazez of Kansas City lost control of his van on US-136 just before 8 a.m. Tuesday.
The vehicle crossed the center line and hit a car driven by Tyler Evans of Stanberry. Abdulazez suffered serious injuries and was flown to Heartland, where he’s in fair condition. Evans was taken to St Francis Hospital with moderate injuries.
State troopers say frost on a highway bridge in Harrison County caused a rollover accident west of Bethany. Pamela Maxwell suffered moderate injuries after the accident shortly after 7a.m. Tuesday.
Investigators say Maxwell lost control of her truck after crossing the bridge. The vehicle skidded off the roadway and rolled onto its top. She was taken to Harrison County Community Hospital.
