The AFL-CIO Community Services announced Sunday that all of the more than 900 families who signed up for the Adopt-a-Family program have been adopted.
More than 150 adoptors came forward Friday and Saturday to close the gap.
Executive director Penny Adams says they made contact with the last two families on her list.
Adams says one mom was babysitting in Savannah with no way to get to St Joseph, so her family will celebrate Christmas next week. The other had no transportation, so the elves of the AFL-CIO did their shopping for them and made a Christmas Eve delivery Monday afternoon.
In all, the AFL-CIO Community Service and sent good tidings to 917 needy families.
