Gallatin Man Serious After Crash

A Gallatin man suffered serious injuries early Tuesday morning in a one-vehicle crash in Daviess County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 47-year-old Timothy Thomas was traveling northbound on Missouri Route 13, about a mile south of Jameson at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday when he lost control of his pickup truck on snowy pavement.

The truck slid off the road and hit an embankment.

Thomas was transported by ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center.  He was later transferred to another hospital.
