Lauretta L. Brocker, 91, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at her home.
She was born January 25, 1922 to Louis Herman and Inez Mae (Pitts) Schneider in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She married Norman N. Brocker on September 19, 1942. He preceded her in death on March 30, 1984.
She was a secretary for several lawyers and doctors, as well as the Family Guidance Center.
Mrs. Brocker was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.
Lauretta loved to garden and work in the yard. She was a talented seamstress and made many clothes for her family. She also loved to travel and take pictures.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Norman Brocker; three sisters; and one brother.
Survivors: daughter, Lynda Gibbs (Bruce), St. Joseph; granddaughter, Anissa Trompeter (Jeff), Grandview, Missouri; step-grandson, Matthew Gibbs (Nicole), Raymore, Missouri; great grandchildren, Brandon, Lindsay and Andrew Trompeter; step-great grandchildren, Zachary and Nathaniel Gibbs; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services: 1:30 P.M. Saturday, St. Paul Lutheran Church. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Friday. Mrs. Brocker will be removed from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory to arrive at the church one hour prior to the service. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Second Harvest Food Bank or Hands of Hope Hospice. Curtis O. Albright
1931-2013

Curtis O. Albright, 81, Savannah, Missouri died Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at his home.
He was born August 26, 1931 to Roger and Agnes Albright in Kenyon, Minnesota.
Curtis was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: children, Allen, Todd, Troy, Terrell, Tony, Tory, Beth, Shari and Terra Albright, all of Arizona; brother, Glenn; sisters, Fern Rudd and Betty Johnson; companion of seventeen years, Jacqueline Rice; several grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services: 2:00 P.M. April 13, 2013, Savannah United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the American Cancer Society. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
