The REC Center in St Joseph is temporarily closed due to a broken gas line on the roof, outside the building.

City officials say the breakage was the result of heavy snow.

Missouri Gas Energy responded and the gas was turned off to the building.  IHP is making repairs.

 

 

City officials say they will ensure that MGE or the St Joseph Fire Department have tested the building with gas detectors before they will allow people back into the building.
