Missouri River Flooding Closes Roads

National Weather ServiceThe National Weather Service says minor to moderate river flooding was expected to continue over parts of central and north central Missouri.

Several state and county roads have been closed due to high water.

Flood waters were expected to gradually subside Monday afternoon and Tuesday.

According to MODOT, these roads were affected:

*Carroll County: Route E at Turkey Creek, Route UU, and Route 10 at Booker Slough
*Chariton County: Route E at Yellow Creek, Route D at Muscle Fork River, Route O at the Chariton River, and Route NN at Middle Fork River
*Linn County: Route E, Route C at West Yellow Creek, and Route WW at Mussel Fork
*Livingston County: Route C at Shoal Creek, and Route DD at Shoal Creek
*Putnam County: Route 129 at North Blackbird Creek, and Route M at Medicine Creek.
