Pedersen, Gerald webGerald Henry Pedersen, 86 of Conception Junction, Missouri died Wednesday,
March 13, 2013, at Heartland Regional Medical Center, Saint Joseph,
Missouri.

Gerald was born April 2, 1926 near Conception Junction, Nodaway County, to
Peter Christiansen and Augusta Amelia (Mattson) Pedersen. He married Sue Ann
Coulter May 11, 1951, at Maryville, Missouri.

He was a 1944 graduate of Guilford High School, a member of the Guilford
United Methodist Church, The Tri C American Legion Post #464, Conception
Junction, Missouri, and was a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Donald Cleo Pedersen
(1979), grandson Seth Levi Pedersen (2001), and daughters-in-law Diane
Pedersen (2011) and Robin Pedersen (2004), brother Cleo Pedersen, and sister
Mildred Nelson.

Surviving are sons Rick Pedersen, Chris Pedersen, Ronnie (Ellen) Pedersen
Guilford, MO, Martin (Margaret) Pedersen, Stanberry, MO, David (Diana)
Pedersen, and James (Christine) Pedersen, Maryville, MO, and daughter
Nancy (Doug) Hilsabeck, Trenton, MO, 23 grandchildren 24 great
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Guilford
United Methodist Church with burial following the service at the Graves
Cemetery, Guilford. A visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday, March 17, 2013 at
the Price Funeral Home, Maryville, Missouri.

A military service will be conducted at the graveside by the Tri-C American
Legion Post #464, Conception Jct., Missouri.

Memorials may be directed to the Guilford United Methodist Church in
Gerald’s name.

Mary Elizabeth Moore
1934-2013

Mary Elizabeth Moore, 78, St. Joseph, Missouri died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at her residence.
She was born September 4, 1934 to Cecil Clyde and Mary (Brooks) Smart in Springfield, Missouri.
Mary had been a bookkeeper at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Richard and Clyde Smart.
Survivors: son, Ron Keyes (Conny), Platte City, Missouri; daughters, Elizabeth Ann Rivera (Carlos), Roeland Park, Kansas and Sharon Brock (Mark), St. Joseph, Missouri; son, Richard Langley, Nebraska; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert and Spencer Smart; and numerous nieces and nephews.
