A St Joseph woman went to the hospital today after a three-vehicle accident south of St Joseph on US-59 highway.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says A pickup truck towing a farm implement came to a stop on the highway.
Amber Cindrich, 30, tried to avoid the implement but was hit from the rear by a semi, which sent her Chevy Impala into the farm implement.
The accident happened shortly after 10:30 a.m. Thursday near the Bankers Crossing three miles south of St Joseph. Traffic on the highway was blocked for about half an hour.
Cindrich was taken by ambulance to Heartland with what were described as minor injuries.
